10 Hours: New Chapter One
A revised chapter one: An abandoned warehouse as a swinger's resort?

Having an unfinished novella/ novel, getting ideas, and not having the quiet to finish the story is its own form of mental bondage ☺️. The idea is there, the characters are taking shape, and …we’re repainting the inside of the house to get rid of the final soot and ash while negotiating with insurance and much, much more.
I’ve written 18 chapters to date for 10 Hours, my first erotic novella, and I project I have another five to seven chapters to finish the story.
Authors have to answer questions like “what’s at stake?” and “how does this end?”
I know the ending since it’s contained in the title, but how do I complete the path to getting there?
But what is at stake?
I know Kendra wants to make sexual fulfillment at a world-class type of resort accessible for all, including families in her hometown of Maple Grove, a Middle America community. There’s property on the outskirts of town that’s appealing where she, her husband, and her lover want to create their dream.
A wealthy media mogul gets in the way and tries to buy off Kendra. He shows her that sexual fulfillment is only for the wealthiest of the wealthy.
I had quiet time this morning and sat down to write chapters 19 and 20, and figuring I should outline to the end.
But a new chapter one came to mind. This clarifies what’s at stake.
So I wrote a new chapter one.
