Sabrina's Needed Correction
The moment she ignored Headmistress Alissia, she knew correction was necessary
The sprawling estate housed the little-known but highly influential seasonal gathering known to outsiders as the Ecole pour femmes, school for women located on the outskirts of Maple Grove.
Gatherings ranged from seminars lasting a few days to instruction lasting several weeks and months.
Each woman who attended was refining the power of her femininity to lead in politics, education, the arts, industry, and families. Recruitment was by invitation only and carefully reviewed by a select committee.
Sabrina was asked to attend the young ladies term lasting six months. She was told her courses of study, and had agreed. Immersed in elegance seemed wonderful, she felt, while developing her passion for international communications.
But within arriving in the first hour, she had shrugged off the headmistress who ordered the ladies to lay their luggage in their assigned quarters and assemble in the library for orientation.
More will be told about the Ecole and will likely have its own section, but for now, simply describing Sabrina’s moment of correction will reveal the serious nature of the school.
